(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 10 stitches
Row 1 (RS): color A, (sl1 purlwise wyib, k9) rep to end
Row 2 (WS): (k9, sl1 purlwise wyif) rep to end
Row 3 (RS): color B, (k5, sl1 purlwise wyib, k4) rep to end
Row 4 (WS): (k4, sl1 purlwise wyif, k5) rep to end
Row 5 (RS): color A, (k9, sl1 purlwise wyib) rep to end
Row 6 (WS): (sl1 purlwise wyif, k9) rep to end
Row 7 (RS): with color B, knit and slip 1 whenever you get to a stitch like shown in the video tutorial, find the vertical bar in color A, slip the stitch right next to it
Row 8 (WS): knit and sl 1 wyif whenever you get to the contrast color
Row 9 (RS): with color A, knit and slip 1 whenever you get to a stitch like shown in the video, find the vertical bar in color B, slip the stitch right next to it
Row 10 (WS): knit and sl 1 wyif whenever you get to the contrast color
Repeat Row 7-10 to desired length, following the rule as already mentioned
