It’s recommended that you choose ribbed cast on for this stitch (such as long tail cast on for rib stitch) to achieve the best result.
(Flat knitting)
Start by casting on a multiple of 4 stitches.
Row 1 & 2: (K2, P2) across
Row 3 & 4: (P2, K2) across
Repeat Row 1-4 to desired length.
(Circular knitting)
Start by casting on a multiple of 4 stitches.
Round 1 & 2: (K2, P2) across
Round 3 & 4: (P2, K2) across
Repeat Round 1-4 to desired length.
Watch to Learn
Watch this video to learn how to knit Double Seed Stitch, to simplify the process, I am using a basic long tail cast on in the video, which is OK but is not the best option for ribbed stitch.
