(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 7 stitches plus 1
Row 1 (RS): with color A, knit
Row 2 (WS): p1, (p2, k5) rep to end
Row 3 (RS): with color B, (k5, sl2 purlwise) rep to last st, k1
Row 4 (WS): p1, (sl2 purlwise, p5) rep to end
Repeat Row 1-4 to desired length
