Garter pennant is a lovely stitch made by combining garter stitch with triangle lace.
Garter Pennant
Cast on a multiple of 9 sts plus 7
Row 1 (RS): K4, k2tog, yo, (k7, k2tog, yo) rep to last st, k1
Row 2, 12 (WS): P1, (k1, p8) rep to last 6 sts, k1, p5
Row 3: K3, k2tog, yo, k1, (k6, k2tog, yo, k1) rep to last st, k1
Row 4: P1, (k2, p7) rep to last 6 sts, k2, p4
Row 5: K2, k2tog, yo, k2, (k5, k2tog, yo, k2) rep to last st, k1
Row 6: P1, (k3, p6) rep to last 6 sts, k3, p3
Row 7: K1, k2tog, yo, k3, (k4, k2tog, yo, k3) rep to last st, k1
Row 8: P1, (k4, p5) rep to last 6 sts, k4, p2
Row 9: K2tog, yo, k4, (k3, k2tog, yo, k4) rep to last st, k1
Row 10: P1, (k5, p4) rep to last 6 sts, k5, p1
Row 11: K5, yo, (ssk, k7, yo) rep to last st, ssk
Row 13: K6, (yo, ssk, k7) rep to last st, k1
Row 14: K1, (k1, p7, k1) rep to last 6 sts, k1, p5
Row 15: K6, (k1, yo, ssk, k6) rep to last st, k1
Row 16: K1, (k1, p6, k2) rep to last 6 sts, k1, p5
