How to Bind Off in Knitting

How to Bind Off in Knitting
Binding off, or casting off, is when you’re about to finish your knitting piece, you just use this technique to create a firm top edge of the fabric. There are many ways to bind off, in this tutorial, I am going to show you the basic method that decreases all the stitches to 1, you just keep doing (knit one then lift a stitch over), repeat that all the way across. The method above creates an edge that’s not elastic, so it’s not suitable for projects with stretchy edges such as necklines of sweaters.
