Left-handed 3/1 Left Purl Cross (3/1 LPC)
3/1 LPC leans to the left, so in order to keep the same leaning direction, its left-handed version is actually worked like 3/1 RPC. Please watch the video below to learn how to do 3/1 LPC in left-handed knitting.
If you have questions, please refer to the video tutorial and written instructions above.

I am working on a square that has a special stitch LPC (left purl cross) .
The instructions are:
Slip st on LH needle to cable needle and hold in front
Knit 3rd st on needle,
Purl first st
Purl 2nd st
Knit st from cable needle.
How should I knit the 3rd st, then purl the first st, purl 2nd st, then knit stitch from cable needle?
I need detailed instructions
Thank you,

Hi Carol,
Sorry for the late reply. The written instruction seems pretty strange, it sounds to me like this is a 3-strand cable stitch, the way you knit the 3rd st before 1st and 2nd stitch is by using a second cable needle, you just slip 1st and 2nd stitch on the second cable needle and hold to back (or in front, both are fine), then knit 3rd st on needle, then purl the 1st and 2nd st from the second cable needle, then knit stitch from 1st cable needle.
The best way to find out is to look at the knitting chart (is it a 3-strand cable?)
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
