How to Knit the Purl Stitch

how to knit a purl stitch
A purl stitch is the opposite of a knit stitch, the wrong side of a purl stitch looks the same as the right side of a knit stitch. A purl stitch looks like a little horizontal bar or “bump” on the right side. In this post, I’m going to show you how to make a purl stitch in English and Continental style, you can choose whichever style you prefer. I’ve also added a video for left-handed knitters, please check it out below.
