Slip a stitch means you transfer the next stitch onto the working needle without knitting or purling into it. When slipping a stitch, how you’re going to insert your needle into the loop makes great differences, actually, you can slip a stitch knitwise (as if you’re going to knit), or slip a stitch purlwise (as if you’re going to purl). In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to:
1. Slip knitwise on the right side
2. Slip purlwise on the right side
3. Slip knitwise on the wrong side
4. Slip purlwise on the wrong side
