Cast on a multiple of 12 sts plus 1
Row 1 (RS): (P5, k3, yo, ssk, k2) rep to last st, p1
Row 2 and all WS rows: K1, (p7, k1, p1 below, k1, p1 below, k1) rep to end
Row 3: (P5, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k1) rep to last st, p1
Row 5: (P5, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, ssk) rep to last st, p1
Row 7: (P5, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo) rep to last st, p1
Row 9: (P5, k1, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k1) rep to last st, p1
Row 11: (P5, k2, yo, sl2, k1, p2sso, yo, k2) rep to last st, p1
Repeat Row 1-12 to desired length.
Stitch Glossary
p1 below : Purl into the row below, inserting needle from behind into the stitch in the row. Purl this stitch as well as the stitch above it on the left needle.
sl2, k1, p2sso : Slip 2 stitches together, k1, then pass slipped stitches over.
ssk : Slip, slip, knit.
