Oval Lace Stitch
(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 8 sts
Row 1, 3, 5 (RS): (P3, k1, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k1) rep to end
Row 2 and all WS rows: (P5, k3) rep to end
Row 7: (P3, 1/3/1 LC) rep to end
Repeat Row 1-8 to desired length
Stitch Glossary
sl1, k2tog, psso : Slip next stitch, knit 2 together, then pass slipped stitch over.
yo : Yarn over.
1/3/1 LC : Slip next stitch to cable needle and place at front of work, slip next 3 stitchesto cable needle and place at back of work, k1, k3 from back cable needle, then k1 from front cable needle.
