(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 3 stitches
Knit 2 rows of garter stitch in color A
Row 1 (RS): knit
Row 2 (WS): knit
Row 3 (RS): color B, (k1, sl1 purlwise wyib, k1) rep to end
Row 4 (WS): (p1, sl1 purlwise wyif, p1) rep to end
Row 5 (RS): color A, (sl1 purlwise wyib, k2) rep to end
Row 6 (WS): (p2,sl1 purlwise wyif) rep to end
Row 7 (RS): color B, (k2, sl1 purlwise wyib) rep to end
Row 8 (WS): (sl1 purlwise wyif, p2) rep to end
Repeat Row 1-8 to desired length
