Tilted block stitch is a simple stitch pattern that creates tiled textures.
Tilted Blocks
(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 16 sts
Row 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 (RS): (K8, (yo, k2tog) x 4) rep to end
Row 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 (WS): (P8, k8) rep to end
Row 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23: ((Ssk, yo) x 4, k8) rep to end
Row 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24: (K8, p8) rep to endΒ
Repeat Row 1-24 to desired length
Stitch Glossary
k2tog : Knit 2 stitches together
ssk : Slip, slip, knit
yo : Yarn over
