
This is a simple lace stitch pattern for sweater or cardigan. Those triangles are formed by decorative holes created by repeating yo and ssk.
Triangle Lace Stitch
(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 11 sts plus 1
Row 1 (RS): K1, (k2, (yo, ssk) 4 times, k1) rep to end
Row 2 and all WS rows: Purl
Row 3: K1, (k3, (yo, ssk) 3 times, k2) rep to end
Row 5: K1, (k4, (yo, ssk) 2 times, k3) rep to end
Row 7: K1, (k5, yo, ssk, k4) rep to end
Row 9, 19: Knit
Row 11: K1, ((yo, ssk) 2 times, k3, (yo, ssk) 2 times) rep to end
Row 13: K1, (ssk, yo, ssk, k5, yo, ssk, yo) rep to end
Row 15: K1, (yo, ssk, k7, yo, ssk) rep to end
Row 17: K1, (ssk, k9, yo) rep to end
Repeat Row 1-20 to desired length
