Cast on a multiple of 12 stitches + 1
Row 1 & 7 (RS): knit
Row 2 & 4 (WS): purl
Row 3 & 5 (RS): (k1, yo, k4, s2kp, k4, yo) rep to last st, k1
Row 6 (WS): knit
Row 8 & 10 (WS): k1, (p1, k1) rep to end
Row 9 (RS): knit the knits & purl the purls
Repeat Row 1-9 to desired length
