There are basically two types of knitting, one is flat knitting, the other is circular knitting. When knitting flat, you work in one direction and flip the working piece on each and every row. When knitting in the round, you work in a spiral like way, from the bottom up, you can use a circular needle or several double-pointed needles to knit in the round. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to knit in the round with four double-pointed needles. This technique is great for small tube shape projects such as socks or toys.
