Cast on a multiple of 4 stitches
Knit 4 rows of stockinette in color A
Row 5 (RS), Row 6 (WS), Row 11 (RS): color B, knit
Row 7-10: knit 4 rows of stockinette in color A
Row 12 (WS): color B, (pick up 1 st from Row 6 and k2tog, k3) rep to end
Repeat Row 1-12 to desired length
