
Zigzag stripe stitch is a simple stitch that uses slip stitch to create zigzag lines.
ZIGZAG STRIPES
(Flat knitting)
Cast on a multiple of 2 stitches
Knit 4 rows of stokinette in color A
Row 1 & 3 (RS): knit
Row 2 & 4 (WS): purl
Row 5 (RS): with color B, (k1, sl1 purlwise) rep to end
Row 6 (WS): purl
Row 7 (RS): knit
Slide piece (with RS facing you) from left to right
Row 8 (RS): with color A, (k1, sl1 purlwise) rep to end
Row 9 (WS): purl
Repeat Row 1-9 to desired length
